After years of unhealthy relationships, not being true to myself, using food as a way to feel in control, and obsessing over my body I finally took back my life and starting living. I became confident in myself and my body. I listened to my body and realized I didn't need to obsess about meals to feel and look my best. I found whole body health and confidence that gives me vibrant energy to fuel a life I love.
I am all too familiar with the never-ending to-do list and how easy it is to fall into bad habits, negative talk, or try out the newest fad diet. I launched this blog to share my passion of holistic health and wellness to help others look and feel their best.

I live in Charlotte, NC with my fiancé and my always hungry puppers Brody, a Jackabee that I rescued 8 years ago.
I attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I went on to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated with a Masters of Arts in Special Education. I moved back to Charlotte to teach elementary special education. I absolutely love helping students find their confidence and meet their goals.

Health and wellness have been my side passion for over 10 years.
I have never been able to sit still so during an off-season in high school I started running, found the gym, and have had continued an active lifestyle ever since.
As far as eating healthy goes I have tried a little of everything from restricted disordered eating, to low calorie treats, to counting macros, to intermittent fasting. I have finally learned to truly love my body and fuel it with mostly real foods that make me feel like glitter and sunshine so that I shine my brightest to the world.
My passion for learning and teaching led me to return to school to become a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
I am a holistic health enthusiast with a love of being in the sunshine. I like to stay active and met my bestie and my fiancé at the gym. I like to start each day with a superfood smoothie and compliments.
I am known to pause my friends when they get too negative and make them state 3 things they like about themselves and 3 things they are grateful for.
I am an energizer bunny and your likely to find me dancing around my kitchen creating recipes, paddleboarding, or reorganizing my house.
